Hello and welcome to my auction. Up for bid's is my 1977 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham 2 Door Soft Top, with leather seats. It has the 400 C.U v8. This car has been owned by myself for 4 years now. It was purchased in June of 2006, and currently has just over 76,000 original miles. This is a very nice car! When I purchased it, the car was in some need of cleaning, detailing, some minor engine maintenance, and a few other things that have been taken care of. It runs beautiful!! Takes a minute from a cold start though. The car is Very fun to cruise around in, and roomy! Kinda of like Chrysler's old style Cadillac. The paint is also in pretty nice condition as you can see from the pictures, and please view all pic's I have provided. I really hate! to part with my cruiser right now, but unfortunately I must let it go to some one else, as I simply do not have the storage, and need money towards a new daily driver for myself. This is strictly the reason I'm selling it! Hate to see it go. Anyways, I'm gonna give you a rundown form OUTSIDE to INSIDE of the car, so you have a good understanding of your vehicle - EXTERIOR - The color of this car is called Jasmine yellow per Chrysler. The paint job is still in nice condition, and I believe it to be the original paint! However I am not 100% certain? But it is very sharp looking!! On the hood of the car you will see a small dent/scrape that was touched up by myself with paint of the same code, as well as a couple other tiny spots on the car. You will also see a couple of rust spots in which are provided in two of my pictures. The first bit of rust is small and at the front passenger's side panel just above the marker light, that will need some minor patching. The next is right under the back window, 3 small spots that will need patching. The roof also has a small leak at the seam where the soft top meets the steel. This was patched with some bondo, but I had not got a chance to sand it down. The next spot is the drivers side rear panel down below the car, which you can see if you zoom in on one of the pictures. Other than that the body is in good shape! The underbody is also very good! not much rust that I can detect which makes sense, since it was originally a Florida car and never driven in the winter. At the front 2 of the 4 headlights were replaced to upgrade HID's and emit a sort of blue light, looks cool! However I do have the original headlights I will include hide away headlight motors no longer work, may be the motor or fuse? But the Car looks better with headlights showing anyhow Wind shield wipers still work fine Windshield has a crack down the passenger's side which I never got to replace. Safe light auto was supposed to do it for me all original emblems still in place front corner turn sig. Lamps have been smoked with Nite Shade - see through lens paint which is legal. For a Sleek tinted look! All windows have also been professionally tinted, rear is 5%, back windows 5%, and front windows 35% and all legal. Marker lights on the car have also been smoked with the same tint paint, looks cool! Rear tail lights are also smoked This car has dual exhaust, but is not TRUE dual! It is just branched off for a dual look with Chrome exhaust tips. It is a Flowmaster muffler Trunk still lock's and latches wonderful! As well as the hood. Rear side skirts were repainted to same paint code. the originals i had off for awhile and i lost them. small dent at passengers side rear panel, that may be able to be pulled out, view the pic below. Tires are all in good shape with a good amount of tread still. NOTE: there are not rims on this car. Those are just sharp looking wheel covers! MOTOR Is a well running 400 C.U v8 with a new Carter Thermoquad 4 bbl. Carb. Installed approx. 1 year ago. THIS BABY CAN MOVE!!! Carb may need to be adjusted however? Car runs great, but around 70 mph carb pop's a bit. A Minor fix or adjustment/tune up with the carb should be done, since I suck at tuning carbs. New Chrome alternator and voltage regulator was installed last summer New radiator/ overflow with new hardware All new spark plugs and wires New distributor cap Top end of motor was sand blasted and repainted Chrysler blue last summer Motor also has some new seal's which included, water pump, intake manifold gasket, and Valve cover gasket's. A/C has been disconnected and A/C condenser was removed. Keeps engine running cooler with better air flow! Car does not currently have heat because it needs a new heater core Edelbrock chrome air filter was installed last year New Front brake job done last summer! With new rotors as well. Stops great! Calipers are fairly new. Changed approx. 6 years ago New master cylinder and gasket Transmission is a strong running 720 Torque flight! Engine has a minor oil leak that I believe is from the oil pan, which most likely needs a new Oil pan Gasket. THATS ALL INTERIOR Has all white Leather seats in good condition! Tiny rip in passenger front, none other. Car has power locks, windows, and power seat. SEE BELOW Power seat still works great!! Dash is in beautiful shape as well as it's leather! Power locks work great! Steering wheel in great shape, horn still works New floor mats Car does have cruise control, that I have NEVER tried?? May still work? All dash lights, except the service dash lights work good! Underneath the dash, 4 red LED lights were installed and turn on at the flick of a switch. Looks very cool at night!! Car has a brand new JVC radio with C.D player, and all brand new Lightning audio speakers. SOUNDS GREAT! I also had a working sub-woofer system in the car! 2-12 inch subs that I will be removing from the trunk upon sale of the vehicle. But it will be system ready~ Rear dash has new black carpet Door's interior's are in Nice shape! Except for NOTE: the passenger's side arm rest has some cracks from aging, as you can see in the picture. Car's power window's no longer work. The driver's side motor works, however it slips on the track so it will need to be fixed, and the passenger's side must be a fuse. Since it does not respond at all? New white headliner was installed 2 years ago, but you can see where a bit of water got in at the rear Trunk is very clean, roomy, and in nice shape! I ALSO HAVE THE ORIGINAL 1977 MANUELS TO THE NEW YORKER, AS WELL AS A HAYNES REPAIR MANUEL I WILL INCLUDE TO THE WINNER. There you have it folks! Again I really hate to part with my car!
