This beautiful 1967 Mustang has a history. The previous owner began the process of converting it to a Eleanor Coup about four years ago. The company that began the work closed shop. However as you can see they completely stripped and started from scratch. The previous owner has invested over $25K already and has deecided not to go any further. It comes with everything you see, which includes all door glass, windshield, rear window, and all interior compnents. The 427 Cobra is completely rebuilt and installed with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Cobra raised aluminum valve covers, MSD electronic ignition and distributor, fabricated motor mounts, polished billet aluminum pulleys and serpentine belt. JBA aluminized headers and Edelbrock four barrel throttle fuel injection. The inner aprons are fabricated sheet metal painted and finished. Notice the chrome Monte Carlo bar and polished A/C compressor plus the chrome Alternator. The body work is complete with Red base and Silver stripes. The Eleanor body is finished. The C-6 transmission is rebuilt and installed. As you will see by the pictures every inch of the car has been gone through from a metal standpoint, outer aprons, fender wells, floor pans, trunk, frame rails, rockers torque boxes. It is solid through and through and has finished paint. The passenger door has a wobble that will have to be taken out and has a 4 inch scratch that will need to be painted, it does not show up in the pictures. Notice the soundproofing on the floor, roof etc. The trunk is completely straight and solid as the pictures show, including new gas tank and the wells are sprayed clean showing all straight metal. This comes with the Aluminum Radiator in the pictures with dual electric fans. The front suspension is also completed with perfomance suspension kit including rack and pinion steering. The front suspension is reinforced to the lower chasis and frame rails. Rear suspension includes rear traction bar reinforced to the frame rails, plus reinforced shackles and the Ford 8 inch rear end. The rims are high end Chrome racing, but have not been able to determine the manufacturer. Tires are BF Goodrich. Front are P215 60R 16's and the rear are P235 60R 15 of which there are three one is the spare. It also has the high back Cobra bucket seats pictured. Custom performance steering wheel is included with all of the original components to complete the car are there, nothing has been thrown away. This car is ready to be finished and has just about all of the components to do so but the new owner will have the choice of style and colors for the interior. the reserve price is unbelivable considering what is here.
