Clean, dependable, 1999 Dodge Ram 1500. 2 wheel drive. 3.9 V6 Magnum.Automatic. Long bed. I think this is called a work special. It has rubber flooring, not carpeting. I purchase this from the Missouri Dept. of Transportation 2-1/2 years ago and have only driven it 3000 miles since. It's a very handy utility truck. MODOT has a reputation for meticulous maintenance on their vehicles, and it was serviced every 3,000 miles. Tires are good Michelin with decent tread. I have not had a single problem with it, and everything works fine. No signs of any rusting except surface rust at paint chips in the bed. I just have too many trucks and one has to go. No, I don't live on a gravel road. I just took it there for photos. Using Amsoil Full Synthetic oil as well as their high performance filters. I installed a steel cab organizer behind the seat. The Flaws: The clear coat is starting to peel. The roof has the worst peeling. One spot on side. (see photo). I noticed some small spots just starting to peel on the hood you have to look close to see. There are two dings on the side. The dash plastic just cracked this winter, which is typical of Dodge. The corner of the drivers seat is starting to tear. The roof has a good sealing plug on the roof where some type of light was. There is no light switch on the drivers door post, which I suspect was intentional. This was a supervisors truck. The corners of the front bumper are "curled" down. This has never been in an accident, so I can only guess that they pushed something with it maybe or it was towed improperly at some time. I don't know. Low reserve.
