Vehicle Detail

Description PLEASE READ ALL!!! I am open to trades but please read all. 1966 Buick Skylark Power windows that work amazingly Auto that shifts great. this was an A/C option car But the A/C has been removed. all parts for the A/C are in the trunk. i will attempt to fix the A/C prior to the end of the auction just because. it is equipped with the original motor and transmission. the engine is Buicks rare 340 C.I. which is a 5.4. this engine is the same bore "3.75" as the 300 CI but has a stroke of 3.85 versus the 300's 3.4. this engine with the 2bbl carb produced 220HP @2400RPM and 340Ft Lbs torq. this HP is easily jumped up drasticaly with little mods. the engine is completely stock now other than the Breather. the face of the dash has been repainted at some point but looks great the dash pad needs replaced - it started cracking and the previous owner did a quick fix to prevent it from worsening. All glass is in excellent shape and appears the window seals and all other trim seals, weather strippng, and sweeps have been recently replaced "probably when it was repainted" the paint is i'd say 7/10. this is not a top quality show car but could be with very little. the carpet and headliner are in excellent shape as is the seats. this would make a great cruiser just the way it is. the only thing i would do if i were to keep it, would be put a set of torq thrust D wheels on it. it would look great. it currentl has 14" steel wheels with ghetto hub caps. the bumpers are straight but need chroming or replaced. underneath the car is very clean as well. there is a small spot that has been repaired in the floor pan. the exhaust is fairly new has duals. again this would make a great cruiser. i will let the photos tell the rest. The power steering is great and the car runs drives and handles beautifuly. History I bought this car from the family who purchased it new in 1965. it has always been female owned. i am not sure of the original color but will find out and post soon. i will also post better and more detailed photos. The original owner took very good care of the car as well as the sister and daughter of the original purchaser. i have many of the registration receipts and the original owners manual, warranty guide with protecto plate, and literature on approved accesories. the first time a saw the car, i had to have it. i bought the car as a toy on a whim but the wife is furious - so it is up for sale without my owning it for more than a week - my loss is your gain. This being said, i can not swap even with anyone for anything else unless i am 100% sure i can recover some of my Money i have a lot of history on the car if you care to hear it you can call me 334-863-0948 chuck c. i am tired of typing and could go on and on. i am open to offers / trade but i can not spend more money and need to recover some. SO I DO NOT WANT TO GIVE YOU THE CAR AND $5,000 for your Jap bike or Porsche. any more questions - please call 919-612-9418On May-13-10 at 10:21:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Please notice that i changed the mileage from 121,000 to 125,000. i am still driving the care and have put around 3,000 miles on it since i lsted. it is currently reading 124,100. it should not surpass 125K as the auction is ending tomorrow. the car runs drives and stops great. the scrape in the paint are below the door on the rocker. the door trunk and hood all open and close great. the car is all in all pretty solid and tight. it has had hubs and bearings replaced as well as the timing set and ignition components - rotor, cap points/condensor, and the coil. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL MILES AND IT IS A NUMBERS MATCHING CAR.
