1998 Mitsubishi Galant ES. Manual Transmission. 156,838 miles. Mostly highway miles since I purchased it in 2007 at 114,006 miles. This has been a very reliable car. Runs great. Never had to take it into the shop for anything other than the a/c stopped working last summer. The repair cost for the a/c was quoted to me at a little over $300 including labor, although I am not sure what the problem is with it. I don't use the a/c often, so I never had it fixed. There also seems to be some sort of short in the stereo. It will work at some times, and not at others. There is a multi-disk cd changer installed in the car, but it plays through an fm transmitter, so the stereo would need to be fixed to use it. There is also a minor crack in the windshield that runs from the rearview mirror area across the top of the passenger side. I don't even notice this from the driver's seat, so I've never gotten it repaired either. There is a small dent in the front driver's side, which you can see in the picture. This was done by a car door. And finally, the sun visors are not attached. I have them in the car, but the screws were misplaced. All in all, the car is in good shape, aside from some minor blemishes. It's mechanically sound. No leaks or anything like that. It should have a lot of good use left in it. I really hate to let it go, but it just sits in my driveway as a second car, and I need to sell it to pay off my new one. The gas mileage is Excellent. It has working power sunroof, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, and dual front airbags. Interior is leather. Windows are tinted. It has all new tires.
