1957 Chevy Bel Air Station Wagon Up for auction is a beautiful 4 door 1957 Chevy Wagon. If you’re looking for a great ride and something to drive around town and have fun with this summer, than this is the car for you. Every time I take this beauty out people come from all over to get a good look and take a blast back into the past. Don’t waste your time on a year or two project car that you may never finish. Get this piece of history for you. After 53 years, cars have changed so much and they don’t make them like this anymore. So get yours while you can… This 1957 Chevy Wagon is powered by a 283cui engine, 2 speed Power glide transmission, and stock rear end. This is a NO RUST BODY with new paint and a solid no wreck chassis. This is a no air and no power steering car. “This Wagon is very stock and very original”. This is the way I like to keep my cars. I my oppinion, the more origional you keep a car the more that they are worth. I have a clear title and I always keep this Beauty in the GARAGE. As far as a description of the car: Before Painting the car, the entire car was media blasted and all body repairs was done the correct way. Sheet metal was cut out and replaced where needed. No bondo or filler in this car. The Body is straight as an arrow with Canary Yellow paint and the correct Bel Air trim. The body and all floor pans and supports are in excelent condition. The Interior is black with front and rear bench seats. Seats are wrapped in a black vinyl roll and pleat which is not new but is in very good condition. New black carpet and brand new rubber front and rear bel air floor mats. The wheels are 15 inch Chevy rally wheels painted to match the car with good tires. All of the chrome and stainless is there and in beautiful condition. I just put brand new bumpers all around the car in the beginning of the year. Front bumpers are 5 piece chrome set and I also installed new rubber bullet inserts. Rear bumpers are a 3 piece set. I installed a brand new reverse light kit in the rear bumpers and while I did that I replaced the whole rear wiring harness and neutral safety switch because the wire was very stiff and brittle from old age. Under the hood is all stock with the exception of the original breather. Back in October of 2009 I had the generator rebuilt, and since then I just converted the generator to an alternator with the correct brackets and wire harness in December 2009. The original harness and generator will be given to the new buyer to have if they want to change it back to stock. All new weather strips and door bushings were just replaced also many other bushings around the car. All of the glass is there and in great shape. No broken glass or cracks in any of the windows, front windshield and back glass or any of the side panels. The windshield wipers and wiper arms are also brand new since December 2009. As you can see that I have replaced many parts costing thousands of dollars in the last few months. There is plenty to list so if you would have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
