If you are not sure as to the translation of that wonderful old Latin phrase, it is "Let the buyer beware". This Dodge Stratus is being sold for a small community bank in eastern Missouri. The car was towed following a tip by an individual on whose property had been hidden. We were informed that the car needs brakes and may need a water pump. We believe the assessment regarding the brakes is accurate based upon driving the car a total of 2 blocks to our parking lot. We have not had any mechanical inspections performed upon the car. As stated above I have driven the car a total of 2 blocks. I believe that the brakes are worn out and need to be replaced. I cannot make any representations as to its road worthiness, ride attributes or the quality of its sound system. The tires appear to be in average condition and treadlife. The cloth seats and interior door panels are intact, showing normal wear for a car of this mileage. Contrary to the auto-populate listing feature of Ebay, this car does NOT HAVE a sunroof nor power seats. The steering wheel shows some deterioration (cracking of the upholstery) which could be easily remedied with a new cover. On balance the interior is very clean for a car of this age. The hood has a significant chip as shown in the photographs, along with rust from the interior of said hood. Likewise there is rust in the rocker panels and on the inside of the trunk lid. The paint on th bottom of the drivers rear quarter panel is chipped. This car needs some TLC and it could become a first car for a teenager, or perhaps a "spare car" as those can be handy. This Dodge Stratus is being sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" with no warranties expressed or implied. The information given in this description is the best information available to the seller.
