Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE AUCTION: 1953 Ford Customline V8, three on the tree tranny. This car runs and drives good. Tires are good. I was going to make it into a fire chiefs car but could not bring myself to drill holes in the roof for the siren light. Car is 6 volt and for buy it now I will include the siren light, two original grill lights and two rear window lights. All gauges work except for temp gauge which goes over to right side when running. Guy I bought the car from said Ford Dealer told him the gauge was bad. I replaced water pumps and hoses just to make sure and guage still shows hot. I have run the car for miles and did a digital temp on the car and the temp was normal. I also believe the gauge is bad. Have not tried hooking up new model gauge because of testing done. Paint on the car is 8 out 10. has a scratch on back drivers side and small stone chips hear and there. This car is very presentable as it is. Interior is like new. Interior was just redone when I bougth the car. Looks nice. Will be happy to answer any questions. If you have no feed back do not bid, I will remove all zero feed back bidders. Bid to own as this is a no reserve auction. $500 deposit due within 4 days of end of auction. Balance due within 7 days. Transportation (if not driving) is responsibility of buyer. On May-05-10 at 15:43:09 PDT, seller added the following information: To all of you that have asked questions: I have looked at the floor pans and they look solid to me. I have no way to hoist it and have looked as good as I can. The frame on both sides is solid. I have pictures of the trunk which is solid. I have taken the spare tire (which is brand new) out and taken pictures. I anyone wants to see more pictures you can email me at gizmo@centurytel.net and I will send more pics of the truck and motor. There is some bulbling of paint on the very bottom rail on the passenger side of the car and I have pics of that also. Other than that the paint is good. Many have asked if there is any filler? My honest answer is most likely. I have taken a magnet to the car and it sticks everywhere with week spots on the bottom rails and lower fender bottoms. If you look inside the fenders there is metal. I would assume from that, that there was filler used to smooth out the metal when repainted. I hope that covers all the questions. If anyone has more please let me know.
