Up for auction is a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4x4 pickup. It has a 4.0L V6 engine, it's automatic, and gets around 18-19 mpg on the highway. This pickup currently has 150,982 miles on it, all highway miles, but still runs great! It's an Indigo (dark blue) color, with some cosmetic scratches and microscopic dings. Just normal wear n' tear for a vehicle that's nearly 10 years old. One such flaw, however, that it has is on the front- passenger side fender, which stands out slightly (as pictured). I previously bought the pickup from a couple, two years ago, that liked to go up in the mountains quite a bit, so that's where all the damage comes from. Since I've had it, it's been well maintained, I just drove it in the winter, back and forth to school. I have all the maintenance and oil-change records, as well as copies of all parts bought, on hand. Since I bought it, I've made my own small changes to it; everything that's include: * Changed the headlights and taillights for the Euro-style lights. * 2 brand new tires, two fairly new tires- all oversized off-road tires/ original Ford alloy wheels. * I added the taillight guards and newer running boards. * Oil changes have been regular and all maintenance has been done to the vehicle, to include a recent tune-up and tire alignment. * I added floor mats (driver side has a small tear where it hooks to the floor, but it's good still) and a dash mat that are specific to this pickup. * A/C blows super cold, it has a 6-disk changer/AM-FM radio/ Pioneer premium sound system. * I've also installed rain guards on the windows. * All leather seats/ driver's side power seat/ vinyl floor/ front air-bags/ all power windows/ power rear window/ fog lamps. * It has a grill guard on it from the previous owners. * Truck bed has a rack that folds out when the tailgate is down (as pictured). * New Rain-X Latitude wiperblades. * A new windshield was installed, but then a freeway motorists kicked a rock at it and it has a rockchip in it now. :-( I have done my research on the value of this vehicle. According to Kelly Blue Book, the truck is worth over $6,300.00; I am not settling for anything significantly less than that amount.
