Transmission: 4 speed Automatic Engine: V6 The ultimate fixer upper! This is a 1967 Camaro! It needs a ton of work and is in very rough condition. Me and a friend purchased two camaros from a co worker with intentions of fixing them up one day. Neither of us really has the experience, time, or money to devote to restoring these classics. We would rather see them get a good home with someone who can restore them. This one is in very rough condition. Exterior has extreme rust of the roof and panels. Has v6 motor but probably not useable or salvageable. Has almost all of original trim, and glass. The interior is rusty, rust through of the floor pans, trunk etc. I was in a hurry when I was at my friends farm, and I took pictures of the cowl tags, but neglected to take a pictures of the vin tags on the doors. However, we believe this to be a stock 6 cylinder camaro with 4 on the floor and center console. It is not a rs or ss. That would be all you would really want to know from the vin anyways. The interior is basically there, the seats are shot, has speedo and tach and gauges. odometer says 69,000 but not sure how accurate that is. Doors open, there is no hood, and the trunk does not easily open. I believe that overall, the basic frame and parts are rusty, but could be sandblasted and used. The grass in the field was long, and it was not possible for me to get good pictures under the car, but expect rust and you will probably be correct! Basically every panel would need to be replaced. I decoded the cowl tag and here are the basic results. 4th week of may 1967 1967 model year 12437 - Sport Coupe, standard interior NOR- Norwood, Ohio 717 - Blue standard buckets, Z - Bucket seats DD - Nantucket Blue M - Powerglide transmission G - center console S - RPO Z23 option, interior decor K - RPO Z21 option, style trim group the car was either a 327 V-8 or six-cylinder model. This car is located on a farm in Clanton, Alabama. It is very easy to get to with a trailer etc, not far from interstate 65. So, it can be picked up. I also have a car trailer with winch so I could possibly deliver it. Well work that out. I have tried to describe this car to the best of my ability, but it is located about an hour from my home, so I do not really have access to it to check anything about it. I do not know the vin number so I do not know if it is a v8 or not numbers wise. Assume it isnt, and if it is you will be getting a huge bargain!!!
