You are bidding on a 1968 Chevrolet Elcamino.project car. This car is an original 327 car and the engine is a 68 327, the engine cranks over fine but I have not tried to get it running as it has been sitting for about 10 years. I did run a compression check and it had about 120 pounds on 6 cylinders and about 80 on the other 2. I checked the numbers on the block and the heads and they are 1968 327. I am not sure what the transmission is out of but it is a four speed. The rear is an open 10 bolt. The body is very straight and the rust is not terrible. I will start at the front and work back the grill is good and straight the I do not see any rust in the fenders. The hood is missing, it had an SS hood and the guy I got it from wanted to keep the hood. The radiator support is rusted. The doors are good and straight but do have some rust in the corners. The body is pretty solid but does have some rust issues the rockers are solid inner and outer except at the back on the drivers side needs some repair. The quarters are very solid just a little rust above the rocker panel. There are issues under the bed with some braces that are rusted out. The tailgate seems very solid. The floors are pretty good just a small amount of rust. This car is complete and could probably be driveable with just alittle work. I put these torque thrust wheels on the car to move it around but they do not go with the car. I am not that familiar with these cars so ask any questions you may have and I will answer them to the best of my ability. Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and this car must be towed. The casting number on the side of the trans is 3929656.
