I brought it to its current location one week ago, where it’s been kept under a new cover, but before that it was kept in a garage, completely removed from the elements. When I was taking the pics, it started sprinkling, and the bike was only uncovered for a couple minutes. This was the only chance I had to borrow a camera so I had to take it. It was immediately wiped down and re-covered. I am selling another bike on ebay as well, an 87 Suzuki Intruder VS1400, which is in awesome condition and is in the same location. Check out both auctions (they will end at around the same time): Up for sale is a garage kept 1983 Honda Magna v65 with just over 14k on the clock and a clear Connecticut title. The original owner’s manual is also included. The engine size is 1100cc. This bike was the fastest production bike in 1983 with a quarter mile time of just about 11 seconds. This bike is scary fast! I’m selling this bike for a friend, who does not want the hassle and does not have the time to show it to buyers. I will show it to anyone who wants to come check it out. The carbs were just cleaned and synced and the oil changed. I drove it from his house to its current location (about 30 miles), and it gave me no trouble; it ran great! Over the past week, I've noticed a bit of a coolant drip, might just be overflow. It’s an 83, so I can’t guarantee that it will not need a thing, but it’s in good condition and rides and shifts. The back tire is getting bald, but it still has some tread (see pics). There are also some seams in the seat that are coming apart (see pics); this can easily and tastefully be fixed with a patch, some electrical tape or the seat could be re-cushioned very inexpensively—a new one could even be found at a junk yard (this is a very easy bike to get parts for). The seat also needs the bolt underneath that attaches it; right now the seat just sits on and can be lifted right off the bike--it stays in place and functions fine like it is though, so it all depends on if you want to take care of that or not; either way it will work. Small scratches are going to be on any bike of this age, but there are really no big ones to mention. There is a little rust on the top of the frame in front of the gas tank, and there is also some scattered rusting, but nothing too crazy. The title is clear, and bike has been garage-kept as long as my friend has owned it. The bike’s location is Storrs, CT. That’s where it will need to be picked up from, and where it can be viewed by appointment. Please look carefully at pics; they are honest, and will give you a good idea of the condition of the bike. On May-02-10 at 18:59:38 PDT, seller added the following information: I just noticed today that the rear blinker has a crack in the rubber mount and needs some electrical tape or to be replaced.
