This auction is for a 1975 Checker Marathon. This car was never used as a cab. I purchased this car in very good running condition. It has excellent glass all around. Is has a Chevy straight 6 with a TH400 transmission and heavy duty rearend. I have heard of these cars going in excess of 1,000,000 miles when properly maintained. I have paperwork dating back to the original purchase including original invoice, owners manuals, and repair receipts. My intentions were for a frame off restoration. New house, new location, new job with many hours and a nagging wife wanting to park her car in the garage have changed my plans. I had started the well documented teardown with pictures taken before and after removing each part. All wires and hoses marked, and all parts labeled. There was nothing thrown away, I have every part. I also have repair manuals and contacts for parts, There is also now an option for fiberglas replacement body parts. This would make a great project for an unusual car while parts are still fairly available with a little searching. Please only bid if you intend on winning.
