I am selling a 1998 5.2 Dodge Ram Dual Exhaust 5-speed standard Quad cab pick up truck. I purchased this truck a year ago and he had purchased it prior to that from another individual. There is a little over 199,000 mile on the odometer but I do know that the truck was mainly towed with its orginal owner so there is about 100,000 miles from being towed on the engine and about 100,000 actual driving miles on the engine. Two years ago there was a brand new paint job done on the truck which changed the color from a purplish color to the sapphire blue that the truck is now. Last year I put a brand new clear coat finish & decal on the side of the truck. I have every reciept of what I have done to this vehicle from the time I purchased it until now. I have done regular maintenance on the truck like change the oil every 3,000 miles. I changed the distributor cap and wires last summer as well as the air filter every 5000 miles. I have replaced the front lower and upper ball joints in the front axle and all the u-joints in the front axle. I have also done many repairs to the underneath involving the exhaust system. I did put in Leaf spring helpers on the back springs to help when I was carrying heavy loads. The thermostat was just changed before winter & I just noticed a small antifreeze leak coming from the thermostat gasket. There are brand new brakes and rotors all the way around, a new catalytic converter, and it does need a hanger for the passenger side exhaust pipe towards the rear of the truck. The front shocks feel like they may need to be changed soon but besides that the truck runs like a top. I have just put the big grabber tires on maybe a week to 2 ago. This vehicle has been smoked in but also has been kept very clean. I installed the side steps, the cab light, the hood flares, and all the rain guards. The original stereo systems is still installed and is in perfectly working order. There is a rip in the fabric of the front drivers seat on the door side. This was there when I purchased the truck. Looks like someone slid off the front seat to get out of the truck and snagged the ribbed edge of the seat. If you would like additional pictures or more information please contact me.
