Car is wet in pictures. You are looking at a 1979 Trans Am i got from a friend origionally to restore but bills have forced me to change my mind, It is a Trans am with 403 V8 with shaker and decoder lists that car was built in Van Nuys Ca with 403 V8 and Auto tranny, This car runs and drives really good and is very fast with alot of power. It has been sitting in the yard for 6 years til a week ago when i decided to put a battery in it and start driving it which i did for the past few days. At a stand still you can stomp the acellerator and break traction as far as you want to spin which shows the power this car has. It is a 4 barrel carb and rediator was replaced 6 years ago before letting sit. I would drive this car anywhere but tires are in bad shape due to sitting and horsepower so need replaced and car needs restoration from some areas that need repaired. It needs a lower door hinge on drivers side(worn out) And from what i could tell a drivers quarter and door skin. It has some rust in floors but not much and trunk pan is sold, Rust in part of rockers and quarter panel but has solid radiator support and fenders are solid from what i can tell. Interior is in need of restoration and as you can tell from pictures its not bad but not good. The rims are 15 inch cragars and i have fender skirt in trunk along with an extra skirt and dash bezel and factory pontiac mud flaps. I decoded the vin which told it was a 79 trans am 403 van nuys Ca car.
