Up for sale here is a very well cared for NOT FOR HIRE 1996 cheverolet HD-3500 with a 17ft chevron aluminum Roll-back carhauler bed This truck has been well maintained and privately used by an auto restorer and collecter.The paint though orginal is still shiney and looks good for its age,the interior is nice clean and comfortable,The mechanics is in excellent working order from the 454 vortec engine to the fivespeed transmission which has a recent rebuild new syncronizers and new clutch pressurepalte and throwout bearing. It runs strong and drives out beautifuly with the 19and1/2 inch tires and wheels the tries have less than three thousand miles on all six of them when repalced at a cost of 1500.00 plus all lights work properly includeing the bed running and side marker lights It has a great am-fm CD player that sounds super. The air-conditioning blow's cold and everything works as it should I would not be afraid to use this truck for long haul's anywhere. The bed Hydraulics work excellent and the hydraulic fluid and filter recently changed also the independt wheel lift is strong safe and seccure and works well. The only thing this truck is missing is the lever identification placcards on the bed I knew well what all the levers did and they fell off due to only being glued on and I havent replaced the now that it's up for sale they are on order from chevronand will go with the truck.when it sells or if their not here bythen i will ship them to you. pictures of the truck are comming please bear with us on that it is a very nice truck and i had another guy photo it for me as he had a better camera and is going to send me the pics.Hope to have them added and posted soon. This truck needs nothing but put to work the reason I'm selling it is getting married and some of the toys have to go truthfully I only used it three to four times a year and not enough to justify owing this kind of equipment.Bu t it sure was an easy comfortable way to transport my vehicals.On Apr-30-10 at 08:55:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Ok guys Sorry abouot the delay with the pictures Note these are not the clean shineing version I had a friend take and was planing to post his Mom had a stroke and he had to go out of town so I never got those pic's these are simple cam -phone pics of the truck that I already had the truck is dirty in the pic's so theres not much shine covered in dust and pollen the interior is also dirty.The good news is this is about as dirty as I ever let the truck get. She is a 1996 so not new but very well cared for and everything works as it should from the lights to the hydraulics and the strong running 454 vortec engine The correct milage current as of today is 117,686 tried to change it in the listing and correct it but it wouldnt let me. The 19and half inch tires are like new with very few miles on them.the transmission has been rebuilt and the clutch replaced with the exception of the crack in the center of the windshield this truck is ready for any work you want.The air blows cold and cruise control works all power windows and door locks work and function properley.The hydraulics on the bed and the independent wheel lift work great it is missing the paccards for the levers telling what each one does and they are on order from chevron.Heres a chance to own agreat little rollback at a very modest price.Hate to see it go but getting married have to get rid of some toys. This truck was used for private use only and befor i aquired it it was a repo truck.
