Lotus Elise Sport clean and cheap Hi, we are selling a 2005 Lotus Elise. It is a 6spd , with power windows, and the sport package(wheels and suspension). Car has 50,139 miles but may have a few more by end of auction. The car is in great condition. The motor runs great no smoke or check engine lights. It is a Toyota motor and comes with Toyota reliability . The trans shifts great no noise or grinding. Clutch feels and grabs as it should. The paint is a eye catcher. It is a custom yellow/green with pearl. You can not bring the car out without some one stopping to ask about it or asking to take a picture. Big time head turner and traffic stopper. There was no expense spared on the paint. One of the best paint jobs of seen. The car does have a nick here and there. It is in great shape but not showroom new. Tires are also in good condition. The rear brakes were just replaced and BMW lug nuts were added, getting rid of the original problematic stock ones. The car does have salvage and rebuilt history. The title I have in hand is not branded and may read clear when new title is issued or will simply state rebuilt/salvage. This does not affect the ability to rejecter the car at all . It was cleared threw state inspection back in 2006. There is whoever salvage history. It has a good NJ inspection sticker. From the researches we did we found in late 2005 when the car was almost new it had a minor font end collision. Being a new US model parts were rear and expensive. The insurance company totaled it. It was then Repaired in 2006 and repainted. It was issued a rebuilt title in 2006 and driven over 45k miles since. We have personally put 3-4hundred miles on the car. There is no problems at all.
