1948 International KB-7 Fire truck I have owned this truck for about 3 1/2 years. It has been a lot of fun, what guy doesn't want to own his own Fire truck. It has a Blue Diamond 269 engine, that runs great. It is very smooth and starts quite easily. It has a 5 speed manual transmission with a 2 speed vacuum shift rear-end. All of the lights work, the siren evan works and it is really cool. I have several rolls of hose for it and the wrench to attach them to the truck. I rebuilt both the left and right valves. The truck runs and drives just like it did in 48, but I let it set up for about a year, and the vacuum brake pack leaks down, you can bleed them hard but it wont stay up but for a few days. I have a full set of manual for this very year model, owners manual, parts manual and the 1948 service manual. The body is straight as an arrow, it needs sanded and repainted so it would look nice but as you can see from the photos it has no damage. If someone would put a little time into it they would have a really cool show truck.
