Up for sale here is my Dad's '73 Corvette Convertible. Unfortunately we lost Dad to cancer about a year ago so we are now having to sell his cars and such. He was a big Corvette guy and loved to wrench on them. We'd love to find his cars good homes. The estate has clear title on this Corvette, and we have the paper title in our possesion. I'm not sure what the mechanical condition of the car was before my father got sick or why he removed the hood and air cleaner. There is a stack of hoods on the side of the house, I am not sure which belongs to this car, the winner may take one. We'll also take a look in the garage to try and turn up the air filter. The bits of plastic you see on the engine are from a tarp my dad had over the engine which fell apart. In 2006 my Dad and I took this car to the Ecklers meet, so I know it ran somewhat recently. The exterior is free from major damage. Obviously the nose has to be replaced, but this is common with the rubber bumpers. There are some areas where the car caover has worn through the paint. The convertible top is in very nice shape. The car has a manual transmission and A/C. The interior is very nice. As you can see in the pictures it has held up well over the years as the car has either been garage kept or covered. A Corvette specialist who examined the car and made an offer informed me that All Numbers Match. Unfortunately we were unable to close the deal as we hadn't cleared probate yet.
