Great boulevard street rod cruiser, perfect for taking the family out for a burger and drive. Built to look like a antique original car but is all updated. It always turns heads and everyone compliments the color. Not a show car or racer, just a dependable, fun cruiser. Interior is stitched in stock design but instead of brown, it is dark blue with a sky blue headliner, dark blue carpet. I used original gauges to promote the stock theme of this restorod. It has a 283 Chevy with a Turbo 400 trans and 8" Ford rear end controlled by a Lokar shifter and e-brake handle. Car was re-wired using a Painless kit. All chassis mods were done with Chassis Engineering kits, the center trans mount with split front wishbone, the rear springs, front shocks and stabilizer bar, the manual GM steering box mount. Front disc brakes/drum rears are actuated by a Mustang dual chambered master cylinder adapted to the stock brake pedal assembly. The steering wheel is an original '39 Ford Banjo and the car has cruise control, AM/FM radio with 6 disc CD changer is mounted in the trunk with a remote controller mounted in the headliner panel above the rear view mirror. Edelbrock 4 bbl. carb has been tuned down to 500 cfm specs and the car gets 21 mpg sparked by a Mallory Unilite ignition. I am selling the car as is with the only detail unfinished being the air conditioning. All of the Hot Rod Air system is installed, but I have not taken it in to be evacuated and serviced.
