I bought this car in Alabama and drove it back to Mississippi. The engine ran beautifully, but it got trash in the gas from the gas tank, and the carburetor jets got blocked. I put a new carburetor on it, cleaned out the tank, replaced the fuel filter. I used the car just around home, and then quit using it. It has sat up since 1999. I can still go out there, pour gas into the carburetor, and it will fire up. But I'm sure the tank will need cleaning again. The body has primer paint on roof and hood. It does have some rust on hood, and spots on side. None on roof. The driver's side floorboard has a rust hole in it. The transmition, power steering, and brakes worked fine. The body is in very good shape overall, doors and tight, seats are in good shape except for the driver's side ( shown in picture), and it still has the original jack and a spare tire. The tires are dry rotted, right rear tire has a hole in it. If you want to drive it home, I suggest you bring tires for it. Otherwise, I"d bring a trailer to haul it on. The engine does run very smoothly when there is no fuel problem and it did not smoke or use oil. It runs so good I believe the miles shown on it are original.
