Vehicle Detail

NOTE: THIS CAR WAS SOLD LAST FALL ON E-BAY AND PAYMENT WAS NOT RECIEVED . WE DECIDED TO HOLD OFF RELISTING UNTIL SPRING DUE TO THE HOLIDAYS. The car did not sell so we are relisting agian . This is an all steel 1940 Fiat convertible. This car was built with my daughter and I as a father daughter project and she has driven it during and since high school. She is now married and just had her third child and now the family just dont fit. She is selling this car to help by a bigger home and hotrod for the family. This car was built to drive and therefore the underneath is finished in undercoating for protection from the elements. This is a neat little car that was built with the complete drive train and suspension from a totaled low milage chevy chevette. The car has plenty of pep for driving and enjoying. The drive train has approximatley 55,0000 total miles. The convertible bows were missing and therefore a lift off carson style top was built using the original front header and latches. easy for 2 people to take the top on and off. The interior is oatmeal tweed with sculptured flames in the door panels and headliner. This car was completed approximatley 11 yrs ago. The exterior is painted Durango copper pearl with fire prisim chromalusion flames. It has frenched 39 teardrop taillights, flush mount front turn signals and elec operated oringinal suicide doors with bear claw latches. This is not a perfect car and does have a few minor battle scars as seen in the pics from being a driver, but it still shows well. The interior is still in great shape. Engine runs well but does need an exhast donut gasket. Tires and wheels are good. It does run 16 inch wheels which were the factory size. This is a very rare body style for Fiat and slightly bigger than a Topolino with full fenders. It is a 2 seater and is a fun car for someone who wants a unique, affordable cool little driver that can still be shown when wanted. Car has a clear title and is ready for crusing weather. Car must be paid for with a $500.00 deposit via PAYPAL or cash within 48 hours and balance paid within 7 days of close of sale with cash only or agreeable money transfer on or before pickup. Buyer responsible for pickup. If you have any questios please send them or e-mail me at possumkiller@hughes.net
