Vehicle Detail

This 1931 Ford Model A Tudor, affectionally know by our family as "MACK," was purchased by my father from a jeweler in 1956. Dad used it as a daily driver from 1956 until 1961. Originally it had an open hatch back but was returned to its original Tudor style during its first restoration during winter 1959-1960. In 1964 it had a full frame off restoration. At that time the odometer was rolled back to zero, the milage listed, 3,051, is the actual milage driven between 1964 and 1982 when it was garaged. The car has sat garaged since 1982. Mack has been a much beloved member of our family for the past 54 years. Now it's time for him to find a new family. There are two videos, a current walk thru and a "Mack Remembered" video with family slides & photographs dating from 1957 to 1980. Specifics: · Chassis suspension appears un-restored, frame repainted. · Body was fully restored. · Minor surface rust developing in multiple locations. · Driver’s door has flaked paint with visible rust. · Passenger front fender has rust by running board. · Rear quarter in front of rear fender on passenger side has rust thru on lower bead. · Door hinges surface rust. · Hood is intact. · Center hinge on hood is sprung. · Top is detached behind sun visor. · Interior has mildew stains on fabric and damage from when mice owned vehicle. · Most metal has corrosion or light rust on trim items. · Engine compartment is complete. · Engine was rebuilt – not running though – “Froze Up?” · Windows roll up & down. · Glass is in good shape except for windshield. · Front windshield is safety glass and has begun to delaminate at the top & sides. · Logo is “Guardian Safety Glass “SOLEX” “PPG-TM.” The winning bidder must pick up or have the car picked up within in 2 weeks of auction’s close.Buyer is responsible for all arrangements and cost of transporting the car after auction’s close.A cash deposit is required within 48 hours of auction’s end via Pay Pal, cash or certified check, with the balance paid within 7 days of auction end.The car will not leave and title will not transfer until funds have cleared. There are no warranties either written or implied. This vehicle is sold as is so I advise serious bidders to contact me prior to auction end before bidding with questions.
