This van has a current inspection inspection sticker valid till August of this year and the van starts up and runs. The engine sounds like it needs a good tune up and the transmission it slipping some when cold. The overall ride is smooth. The current owner has used this vehicle for 7-8 years and it has never let him down, it always started up and there have been no accidents. This van is a good candidate for a fixer upper and the engine and transmission should be looked at. The XLT was considered a deluxe "station wagon" and can be licensed as a car instead of paying extra for a truck designation. It has been converted to a working van and was used only to haul antiques to the flea market by the present ownerall the rear seats were removed. This is a great opportunity to acquire a work van with all the advantages of a luxury van. I've taken lots of photos for your inspection. There's typical wear for its age and some surface rust here and there. The only rust through is on the passenger side on the bottom of the rear door. All the paint is original. All the doors work and there are no issues with any of the glass. All four tires are in good shapenot new but a fair amount of tread left. The engine is a 351 Windsor and the odometer reads 50,239 miles and van is over 100,000 mile. The owner is pretty certain that the van is 150,239 and not anything higher. An open air filter was added to help the engine breath better for more power and better fuel economy. Please note that only the rear gas tank works. There may just be a switch that needs repair to fix the problem. Included with this van are the following options...
