This is a Beautiful 1968 Pontiac Firebird. This car was completely refurbished a few years ago. It was a very solid car to begin with, but got new rear quarter panels before being painted Black. The black paint job show off how well the body work was done. This car is arrow straight. The floor pans and trunk are solid. This car is almost 100% rust free. There is one very tiny rust mark on the inside of the driver side door jamb. It is so small, that if I didn't point it out, you would probably miss it. The car got some new interior pieces including carpet and a new headliner, after being painted. I do not know if the entire interior was replaced. The door jamb sills are missing. These are available in aftermarket, but there are none with the car. The car has the classic GTO styled scoops in the hood and the desirable Pontiac hood tach. The hood tach has been working off and on. It may have a short or some other minor problem. I am not sure. The engine is a Y code 400 and is backed up by a 350 Turbohydromatic transmission. The rear differential is a standard unit, not a positive traction unit. The engine has headers and performance exhaust. The engine starts very easily, idles and drives excellent. This car sounds so good when it is idling! This car is in awesome condition. you can definately fly in and drive this back to California! The Firebird has drum brakes all the way around. It has a very attractive set of Drag Light rims and the tires are good with at least 90% of the tread remaining. All of the glass is good. This is a great opportunity to own and show off one of America's most popular and attractive Pony / Muscle cars. You will not be disappointed with anything about this Firebird.
