Up for auction is a 1968 mustang gt coupe with a clear title in great restorable condition, sat in a barn from about 1975-1992 due to a light driver quarter hit, what was an easy fix turned into a long rest! Tons of receipts on up keep of car since then which will be given to the winner!Car does have wheels and tires on it, 2006 16 inch mustang pony style wheels. Power brake set-up included! 2 steering boxes (400.00 each new or 300.00 to rebuild one, a steal) If you are looking for a car that has mostly all original body parts and interior that isn't eat up with rust, this is the one for you!!! I'm located about 1 hour north of Atlanta, Ga and about 1 hour south of Chattanooga, Tn, as well as about 1 hour from the Alabama state line, 2 mins from I-75! Very central, very easy to find!Some idiot had done a crap job putting on the driver quarter and used a grinding rock on it to somewhat smooth it out so I said the hell with that and had a buddy that is a auto body man of 30 years experience cut it off which he recommended the taillight panel be cut off as well. Wheel housing is good. A driver complete quarter and tail light panel from Mustangsunlimited.com runs 320.00 for both and guess what with them if you order over 300.00 worth theres free shipping! I no longer have the time or the extra money to fool with this car but its about the best rebuildable 1968 I have seen in a long time! Glass is all original green tinted!Cowl vent is in excellent condition. Don't know what the condition of the front floors were exactly but I'm guessing they were actually no worse off than the rear floor boards and they are actually usable!This was apparently a factory front disc brake car (pedal says disc brake on it as well) with what was a factory 9 inch 3.00 rear end. Also had original turn lamps in the hood! You won't find a more untouched great condition car, I mean original seats never recovered, not destroyed, original body parts minus the driver quarter of course, most have always been through too much hell to be in this shape. Front end has already been redone, see picture! New apron where battery was! The car appears to have the original front fenders, doors, deck lid, passenger quarter, bumpers, gauges, trim pieces, heater controls, light control, rear quarter extensions, door handles, heater box, seats, visors, kick panels, headlight buckets, dash pieces, tinted green glass (no cracks or scars), door panels, hood, rear and front valance panels. After market items I have noticed are, a new gas tank, new radiator support, inner fender aprons, front floor pans (back ones have some surface rust, but can be left alone as they aren't eat up), new bumper brackets, headlight rings, new torque converter, and a fairly new gas cap. ***Included is a 351w block, a 408 stroker kit (scat cast crank, forged rods and forged probe pistons, a 1200.00 value alone! ***Power steering setup goes with it, minus pump and lines. No tranny. No driver quarter. No tail light panel. No tail lights. No quarter extensions.This is an incredible car to rebuild so don't miss out! It has some very small rusted out placedsin the front door corners ( not bad but very common, see pictures please) but other than that there isn't any rust any where else!!! Where there is primer, it's there not to hide anything but to prevent rust as the car was bare metal when I got it in those places, your welcome to sand it off upon pick-up if you do not believe me, theres no rust underneath.
