Vehicle Detail
This is an outstanding ONE-OWNER Chevrolet G20 Starcraft conversion van with only 34,617 miles since new. We purchased this van from the ORIGINAL OWNER who bought it back in 1992 for over $24,000! The owner kept this vehicle garaged, and it has NEVER seen snow or inclement weather since new. PLEASE VIEW ADDITIONAL HIGH-RES PHOTOS OF THIS VAN ON PHOTOBUCKET- http://pbckt.com/sm.NQ9b This Starcraft conversion van is the top of the line (SL Brougham), and it is as nice as the day it was made. This van runs and drives so sweetly, you'd think it was right out of the showroom. The engine starts up perfectly, the suspension, brakes and steering are tight and precise, and the body is clean and straight as a pin. Even the UNDERCARRIAGE looks to be nearly new- please see the photos! This is the perfect example of a car that was "babied" since new. The owner kept the car garaged and clean at all times. Some people baby their Porsche; this guy babied his Starcraft van! We have a copy of the original title- showing the purchase price of $24,406 and mileage of 395 when delivered! This conversion is built from the Chevy G20 van, which has the following features- 5.7L 350 V8 engine automatic transmission dash A/C (blows cold) cruise control power locks and windows The Starcraft conversion adds on a huge list of luxury features and equipment which makes this a truly special vehicle- here are only some of the Starcraft options- body kit and graphics package large "picture" windows with vents auxilliary rear heat AND A/C lighting package- including foglights, driving lights, aircraft lights, valence lights and dome lights wood trim package TV and VCR built-in cell phone CB radio power seat quad "captains chairs" rear POWER-folding bench seat that converts to a full-size bed rear clothes rack and "dustbuster" vacuum window shades and blinds rear towing hitch Cragar chrome-plated wheels full velour and carpeted interior Also included are the owner's manual, books and TV/VCR remotes. To say this van is in pristine condition is an understatement- it's so nice that I'm confident a nicer example cannot be found anywhere. The body is straight, clean and beautiful- with all-original paint, and the interior is spotlessly clean and free of wear or problems. This was a non-smoker's vehicle, as well. The doors open and close tightly and with no wear or sloppiness, and no rust in hinges (rare!). The van drives like NEW, with no rattles or shimmies. There are no fluid leaks, and everything is working properly to our knowledge. The only minor thing I could find is a small nick in the windshield on the passenger side. This Starcraft conversion could easily be used as a camper/travel van- the bed folds down for sleeping, and their are blinds for privacy as well. Please email with any questions! Non-refundable deposit of $500 due within 48 hrs of auction close. Full payment due within 7 days. Please make arrangements for pickup within a reasonable time- this van is stored in a secure, climate-controlled facility. On Apr-17-10 at 08:53:44 PDT, seller added the following information:UPDATE-We called the owner to find out about the accident reported on the AutoCheck report. He stated that it happened in 1996- a girl was riding a motorcycle behind him and took off too fast from a stoplight. She cracked the spare tire cover, and behing particular, he called the police and made a report. Hence the accident report! He ordered a new cover from Starcraft, so there's nothing at all wrong with the van as a result.
