You are looking at a beautiful 1956 Bentley S1. This right hand drive Bentley has been part of a private California car collection for the past 22 years. It underwent a true-to-original aesthetic restoration in the 1990's and has been garaged ever since. This fine automobile also comes with an original Bentley brochure on this model. The Bentley 6 cylinder and automatic run and idle smoothly and the car starts up immediately after ignition. All electrical components including the interior and exterior lights and blinkers work properly. The exterior shines with nearly flawless chrome and superb two-tone, two-stage paint. The interior is appointed with full grain Nappa Leather, finely stitched carpet and footrests, and all the interior wood trim and rear tray tables have been refinished. The headliner, rear mirrors and some other small pieces are original and untouched. This Bentley rides on rubberized steel rims with polished stainless steel Bentley hubcaps and Remington white wall tires. The engine compartment and undercarriage were painted and detailed during the restoration process as well. The undercarriage is largely free of rust. There is a small 2"wide piece of chrome missing on the passenger's side (opposite side due to RHD) as can bee seen in the photos. Also there is a hairline crack in the rear window glass but is not visible from outside the car. Also the steering wheel has experienced some cracks in the rubber which are mostly on the back of the wheel. Overall this automobile is in very good mechanical and aesthetic condition.
