I purchased this 1964 s-type 3.8s Jaguar with intentions to restore but i purchased a 61 xk150se that is taking my time now. Here is what i know about the car: It is a one owner Southern california car, original owner was a historian and i have original title. It is extremely straight and dry ... minimal body work necessary to paint... It has original engine and transmission. Engine is the rare bigger 3.8s motor with the hemi pistons that 9-1 compression. I pulled the radiator today and was able to turn engine over by hand with ratchet on crank. I poured mystery oil in each cylider to lube piston rings.. I have no idea of condition of engine except it outwardly is clean and original blue cylinder paint is present... I assumed doing a light rebuild through restoration.... atleast it turns over.. Interior is needing restoration, i have new headliner kit, wood dash need light sanding then clear coat... guages all look nice... steering wheel is beautiful, I have both original horn covers as well as very rare Lucas fog lamps... It has original wire wheels which is a beautiful upgrade on these sedans... Left tail light is damaged but i have another... Has tool box (no tools ) with original jack, has spare tire It is missing the air cleaner and jaguar hood ornament but it has the plenum .. Has original California Black license plate Have factory repair, service manual,road track, road and track book that conveys with car... Has Original radio I have the chrome for around the windows The car is worthy of restoration especially due to rarity and the fact it has high output engine with the independent rearend.... Basically as 1964 e-type drivetrain in a sedan happy bidding and car is sold as is and where is.... Email for more photos... i will taking more photos during the auction... just need the room now
