1973 Volkswagen Thing. This is the funnest summer car you will ever own! This car has been in my family for over 25 years! My sisters drove it in highschool in the 80's, and it was parked for over 20 years until I restored it last year. The paint is beautiful. it was painted by a custom paint shop here in utah, and it is super shiney. I also had the interior painted the same color, but is is a paint that has a little bit of texture to it. All of the fenders are new from the thing shop. They were all painted before being installed. new fender welt, (the rubber piece between the fender and the body of the car) All of the rubber has been replaced. new windshield, tail lights, hedlights, bumpers, wheels, tires, and a bunch of other stuff. I also have the oak "Duck board" floor boards from the thing shop. This old Thing runs great. I have not done anything to the engine with the exception of giving it a tune up. the gas heater is still under the hood, but I have never hooked it up. I only drive it when it is nice out! super fun car for a great deal. There are 2 small chips in the paint (door dings) on the drivers side. I will have this repaired for the buyer if the price goes over $8000.00. They are tiny, and most people would never notice, but they are there none the less. If I sell the car for less than $8000. I will not have them repaired. I do NOT have a top or the side curtians for this car. It had a fiberglass top, but it was in bad shape so I tossed it. I only drive it when its nice out.
