You are bidding on a 1983 Chevrolet ElCamino Diesel. I am listing this for my brother and I will describe it like I were looking at it for myself. I have been researching this car and have only found out that they were a very limited production car. This car is in very good condition, it has been repainted at some point and the paint is in fair condition the paint on the hood is very thin. The only rust that I have found is on the bottom of the drivers door it is kind of scaley. The interior is in fair condition the carpet is good, the door panels are good, the seat is pretty good it has a small tear on the drivers side back, the headliner and sun visors need to be redone, the dash does have some cracks. The car runs good and shows overall nicely. I could not find any other diesel Elcaminos to determine a value so I am going to start this low and the auction determine the value. I also have the original build sheet for the car. On Apr-13-10 at 17:14:17 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had several people ask about the engine size. I have referred back to the build sheet to add some information. It has GH2 2.29 Rear Axle, LF9 350 Cid. Diesel, 3 Speed Transmission. The car was produced in the Arlington Texas and shipped to RK Chevrolet in Va. Beach. I put the car up on a lift to inspect the underside and was very impressed with the condition of the frame and floors. There is no rust at all under this car. The color is called Dark Maple upper and lower code 78.
