59MPG / New IMA Batter Pack / New Tires - READY TO DRIVE! 2000 Honda insight This insight recently had the Computer and IMA Battery pack replaced in July 2009 (only 2000 miles driven since installation) We have owned this car since 2003 and will be very sad to see it go. It has been and extremely reliable vehicle, and really fun to drive. It has been regularly serviced with Mobil 1 0w-20. The car drives beautifully and is a great commuter vehicle. This car is unique, practical, and will last for someone who appreciates it. Mileage is 132,440. The car is averaging 59mpgs. The brakes and clutch appear to be in good condition and do not appear/feel to have any issues. The car shifts through all of the gears smoothly and consistently. We are the 2nd owner of this car! The exterior of the car is in good condition for its age. There are some minor flaws, of paint chips on the hood, some light scuffs around the body panels. The car was bumped from behind in stopped traffic and there are 3 small (1-2cm dia) holes in the rear bumper. The holes are patched/painted, and can not be noticed unless you are up close. The interior of the car is in good condition for being 10 years old. The seats are not torn, and the floor is in satisfactory condition. The car was never smoked in. We will remove the college sticker from the window before the car is sold (sorry we forgot). The fuel economy is based on the type of driver. However a smaller driver may achieve greater results. I am 260lbs & 6'-10", and the car actually fits me fine. Surprisingly it does have nice leg room and is spacious.
