SO, here's the good the bad and the ugly on this gem! This 1996 BMW 328i sport-package automatic convertible was traded-in here in excellent running condition a few years ago. Since then we have leased it out, serviced it, repo'd it, and then here at our facility a hurricaine compromised it's top, and it got wet inside. Since then she has just sat in the back corner, covered up to protect from any further rain/water damage. Now the car sits, needing love, but not completly dead. Upon attaching the jump box the door chime started and the cluster lit right up showing 81k miles, the a/c blower kicked on, as well as the radio. A turn of the key resulted in the starter engaging and the engine spinning but she didn't kick over, this may be as simple as bad gas/water in the fuel as there's no gas cap! There are a few parts missing, over the years we have grabbed a fog light from it and other random bits, but most everything is there aside from a few switches, the air box, and ??? What this car appears to need is 4 tires, as they are dry rotted/bald, a spare, new convertible top, a battery, a paint job, a full service/tune-up, and it's missing parts, though we make no guaranty as to the extent of work needed.
