For sale: A really cool 1974 Pontiac Formula 455 clone. This car has a Superduty" engine with a turbo 400 transmission. This superduty motor came out of a 1973 Trans AM. Motor contains: 268H cam. Edelbrock performer intake. 780 Vacuum secondary Holley four barrel. 4X heads. 150 shot nitrous jetted down to 100 shot. Nitrous bottle is full and ready to go. High performance fuel pump. Dual exhaust. 2200 stall converter. Turbo 400 is nice and tight. 331 posi rearend. Front and rear sway bars. Front disc brakes. This is a true 13 second car. It is turnkey and ready to go. Even though it's fast it is very dependable, starts right away, every time. Drives fantastic. Stops fantastic. Sounds fantastic. Stereo has 450 watt amp, with 10" free air speaker. Pioneer cd player with AM/FM. Has factory A/C, not currently working. Interior is in good shape. Have tons of service receipts, original window sticker, original build sheet and the owners manuals. This vehicle gets lots of attention. It is very fast and fun to drive. This car is NOT for the amateur driver. Selling as-is/where-is. Available for viewing anytime before auction end. On Apr-14-10 at 10:18:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 4/14/2010: Very hard to see casting numbers but after much checking it appears that this is NOT a super duty motor, still extremely fast, still strong, still 455 but not a "super duty". Casting number on block is 485428. 1973, I was told. Casting date on heads are E053 and E083. There are two other numbers that I don't know: 13165 with YY underneath on block. And 22670 92 on one of the heads. Sorry for any misunderstanding.
