1968 pontiac gto,71k actual miles,number matching 400,turbo 400,a/c,posi,power steering and brakes,hideways,complete number matching car from top to bottom,i wanted to just get it roadworthy and drive as is but unfortunately things have changed for me, car is very solid as it spent most of its life in california until 2014, car was with original owner until then, his son who lives here in south dakota inherited the car after his father passed away,he was not in the position to restore the car or keep it roadworthy, it does run and drive but you can tell the engine is getting tired, it does not smoke, but im sure would need a good tune up to get it running a little smoother, choke sticks once in a while and floods the car, has an exhaust leak on the drivers side, only rust to speak of is in the trunk from the rubber mat, it held moisture and has a couple small spots. overall this is a great restoration project without a ton of rust, body was pretty straight until the lh tire came off and dented the fender as you can see in the pictures,lights and turn signals work,gas gauge does not work,would need to be trailered as it is not roadworthy as is,gas smells old and tank should be cleaned out, i do have all of the original rally wheels but one of them is bent from coming off and hitting the fender reserve right to end auction early as car is for sale locally, please do not bid if you cannot meet the payment terms and timeline and question call 605 391-8656 payment is by personal check (once cleared)money wire,cash in person,$500 due within 24 hours, balance due within 3 days
