You are looking a virtually all original 1972 BMW R60/5 SWB in the original Federweiss (white) paint, color code 084 (#584 cream white in England). The paint is the original factory paint and pin striping so expect a few knicks here and there. The bike has 70,543 miles, includes the tool tray, extra key, owners manual (for this model but not from this original bike) and a few other maintenance parts. A new seat / seat pan and rail were installed about a year ago along with new Magura (OEM style) grips. The bike does need a battery and the carbs need to be rebuilt. When I rode the bike for the last time late last summer, the bike started and ran good but, can tell the carbs need rebuilt and synched. All electrics worked as they should when put up for the winter. The non /5 parts are /6 style rider pegs and spark plug wires. The only reason I am selling is I am thinning out the herd due to an upcoming retirement. NOTE: The R60 will need minor maintenance as noted above prior to riding the bike. I am selling the R60 @ NO RESERVE! If you are shipping the bike, I can deliver the bike to a local truck stop at n/c to save a few dollars as the pickup point will be considered commercial vs. residential.
