In California the seller has to smog it unless it is sold for parts. You have to smog it, if you live in California. If you live outside of California that may not apply to you. Since it has a clean title, you can pay to smog it and you can register it fine with no problems. I just don't want to pay to smog it - for California buyers. In California the registration is due on Feb. 8, 2019. I have paid to have it registered until Feb. 8, 2019. I have owned the vehicle for over 10 years. At about 150,000 miles I had the engine rebuilt. So it has less than 100,000 miles on a rebuilt engine. The car needs some work on the transmission and is blowing exhaust into the cab. Remember that this vehicle runs. It is a good commuter vehicle for someone if you don't mind spending some time and money fixing it completely. This vehicle is sold as is.
