1969 Ford Mustang 428 Cobra Jet R Code Ram Air Winter Blue Color Nodular 31 Spline Rearend 428 Cobra Jet Shaker Assembly Great Project to Restore Link to Images: https://imageshack.com/a/d3Po/1 You are looking at a 1969 ford mustang R code 428 Cobra Jet. This car was built in San Jose, California on January 2nd 1969. This car left the factory in beautiful Winter Blue paint, which is a color you don’t see very much of, with black knit vinyl Mach 1 Hi-back bucket seats. Moving this beauty down the road is a 428 Cobra Jet engine putting its power through a C6 automatic and 31 spline Nodular 3.25 Traction-Lok Rearend. As you can see the car needs to be brought back to life, back to its former beauty. The good part about this car is that it is very complete. Engine, transmission rearend, radiator, disk brakes, power steering, all the glass, all of the interior etc. You won’t have to hunt all the small parts that get very expensive. Oh and let’s not forget the shaker! The shaker is still there as well. According to the Marti report this car left the factory with the following options… -Traction Lok Differential - F70x14 Tires - Sport Deck Rear Seat - Power Steering - Power Front Disc Brakes - AM/8 Track Radio - Tinted Glass Complete - Front Bumper Guards - Tachometer and Trip Odometer Winter Blue in color Paint code P5. As you can see this is a project car. The car has clear paperwork and the VIN tag under the windshield. The car will need fully restored which includes rust repair to the normal areas where these mustangs rust. Floor pans, Quarter area, torque boxes, floor support, trunk area, lower doors. Paint is flaking and it does need metal work.Has the wrap around shock towers and many other 428CJ parts. The good thing about it is that the metal for these mustangs is very inexpensive. The engine and transmission in the car are not the originals but the engine is a 428 Cobra Jet engine with a 1970 date code. 428 Cobra Jet Block C8OE-6090-N heads Correct Cobra Jet intake C8OE Correct CJ exhaust manifolds Nodular 31 spline rear is original to the car.
