Up for auction is an incredibly well preserved 1996 Ford F350 XLT Crew Cab 4x4. This truck is in all original, unmolested condition and shows very well. This F350 is equipped with almost every factory option available for the year including power windows, power locks, power mirrors, A/C, cruise control and tilt wheel. All of the power options are in working order. Since this is a factory 1 ton truck, it is equipped with the bullet proof Dana 60 solid front axle. The interior of this F350 is in excellent condition with very few signs of wear. The dash is free of any major cracking in the dash pad or plastic pieces and has not faded or become discolored from the sun. All of the gauges work and are in excellent condition. The carpets are virtually perfect without any tears, major stains or cigarette burns. The seats are in perfect condition and appear as new except for one small area of wear about the size of a quarter on the bottom of the driver's seat as pictured. The headliner is flawless aside from two small holes above the rear view mirror where a previously installed CB radio was mounted. There is an aftermarket touchscreen radio with a flip up screen that plays DVDs mounted in the dash, but no modifications have been made to the dash to accommodate the unit. The exterior of this truck shows incredibly well. The paint is 100% original aside from some light spot paint work on the roof where a bit of the original paint had peeled at some point as many of these trucks experience. The rest of the paint does not have any peeling clear coat or fading and has a very deep shine. The truck does have a few small nicks and chips in the paint in various places as to be expected for a vehicle of this age, but no major blemishes otherwise. The body is extremely straight and all four doors, the hood and tailgate open and close like a new car. The body gaps are all very even and symmetrical. This F350 is free of any major body damage or dents, but does have a few small dings here and there. The bed has a spray in bed liner and is very straight except for a slight bend in the bulkhead, likely from a load that shifted forwards. The undercarriage of this truck is incredibly clean and is 100% rust free and solid. All of the factory spot welds appear to be perfect throughout the entire truck as well. The frame and suspension components are very clean showing only minor surface rust. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The 460 V8 is very healthy and has plenty of torque. The 4 speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly while maintaining firm shifts. The transfer case engages in all positions as it should. The electronic dual tank switch works as it should. The original exhaust with catalytic converter remain on the truck. The tires appear like new and have excellent tread left. Two original keys, one factory key fob and all of the original owner's manuals and pamphlets remain with the truck. This is a very nice example of the iconic 90s Ford crew cab truck and is offered at a low reserve price.
