Restore, part out, whatever. I see nicer ones often until I get closer and see a whole lot more rust. This is a 1979 car that needs work. As far as I can tell, it's the original paint. Yes, it's faded and thin, but except for the floor pans and driver's side trunk pan, the body is pretty solid. It needs someone who has more knowledge of the Mercedes engine. I was told the main problem could be that it has an aftermarket fuel distributor called the Python. I have not heard anything good about them. **2 Times now bidders have won the auction, or hit Buy it Now, and I haven't heard back from them. ONLY SERIOUS BUYERS THIS TIME .
