Here you go vintage bike fans! This rare beast is perfect for the collector, backyard wrench junkie, vintage racer, or whoever just loves cool, old machines. I'm offering up my beauty GT250. She's a 1976 that ran just fine until I parked & mothballed her properly a few years ago. I got busy on too many other machines and you can be the next lucky owner of this true survivor. The GT's have a cult following and you can actually buy just about every part to build one from the ground up. I am starting the bidding WAY below what that would ever cost you. In fact, the starting bid is way below what I've seen these sell for over the past few years and not even in as good of shape. I simply have too many projects and rather see it go to somebody who can enjoy it. I know, there are a lot of folks turning these into cafe races as well. The left hand kick start is an awesome perk! It is far from perfect, but in fantastic condition for her age. Nobody ever dropped her or abused her. I never used it enough to require any serious repairs but did the basic service 100%. The bike kicks over just fine. With minimal work, the next owner can have it running very easily. Folks this a two stroke street bike and you will never see these things sold new again in the US. They are a pure blast to ride! The damn things only weigh 300 pounds and the 30hp has no issues pushing you past 70MPH. The back road twisties are sheer joy. The 250cc two stroke is surprisingly strong and fun (plus, sounds GREAT). Your neighbors will think you lost your marbles when they hear it & see all the blue smoke. The low miles are verified and I have the ownership paperwork in-hand from NH (they didn't issue titles/just bills of sale). We will also execute a notarized bill of sale to fully ensure you are covered. I will remain committed and provide the successful buyer with whatever they may need in their respective state to make it legally theirs (affidavits, etc.) This is the part where I say, "don't ask me questions" while respectfully grinning. I know there are VOLUMES of questions that could be generated folks. Please study the pics and arrive at your own conclusions based on your, specific, expectations. She goes as-is, there's no trick photos and I don't have a box of parts for ya. You are, of course, welcome to shoot me any Q's and I'll do my best to satisfy you. I am unloading a few old machines and this beauty would even look good just hanging out in a bar or shop.
