Unfortunately, while diagnosing the problem the starter broke. Our attempts to get the parts for the starter have been unsuccessful and the shop that can rebuild it is not available until Monday. This car normally runs well, however it sat for a while after my dad passed away. Last month we put fresh fuel in it, did a minor tune up and the car fired right up. We think the carb may need to be cleaned, but we need the starter to be fixed before we can know for sure.
