Vehicle Detail

Here we go MC fans! Rolling an old gem out for your consideration here today. I have too many old machines and never enough time to get to them all. This rare beast is perfect for the collector, backyard wrench junkie, vintage racer, or whoever just loves cool, old machines. I picked it up back in the late nineties and only ran if for a little bit. The 175 two stroke screams and had tons of power but I did some research, at the time, and found that the bike was pretty rare (parts were hard top come by). I estimated the mileage because Ebay won't let you list a bike without it, but I'd be very surprised if it actually had 4k put on it. Puch mainly sold scooters. This thing was imported by Penton. These bikes were actually made in Austria. So I mothballed her to avoid damage and here she is- unmolested for the next lucky owner. Just look at that fancy Italian front end! It still kicks over easily and I am confident you could mix up some gas, throw a new plug in and get her screaming around again. This is the part where I say, "don't ask me questions" while respectfully grinning. I know there are VOLUMES of questions that could be generated folks. Please study the pics and arrive at your own conclusions based on your, specific, expectations. She goes as-is, there's no trick photos and I don't have a box of parts for ya. You are, of course, welcome to shoot me any Q's and I'll do my best to satisfy you. I am unloading a few old machines and this beauty would even look good just hanging out in a bar or shop....what I'll gladly do with it if nobody bids. So, if this baby gets your heart moving, throw a bid in! $700 is a pretty cheap minimum bid for what you get here. The lucky bidder owes $500 in PayPal deposit at auction close and has two weeks to arrange final payment & pickup. There is no title, but a bill of sale will keep it all perfectly legal. Hell, I am not even sure of the production year. Bottom line is that you can have this rare beast to show all your friends. Make up stories like, "Steve McQueen use to race it" or "Bob Seger wrote a song about it". Thanks for looking and enjoy your day friends! On Jan-09-19 at 07:04:32 PST, seller added the following information: Update 1/9/19: Getting messages from highly motivated folks who will require shipping and are only concerned about the 2 week deal constraint. What I told them is that if they pay for the bike and we are communicating, they can take as long as they need to arrange the final pickup. Hope this helps and have some fun today! On Jan-09-19 at 07:19:31 PST, seller added the following information: Cool note from one a fellow eBayer: Say's he has the same bike and is getting parts from https://www.motorwestmotorcycles.com/ Wish I had these guys back in the nineties! On Jan-10-19 at 08:02:02 PST, seller added the following information: Final Word: Coming down to the wire here and I just wanted to truly thank everyone for all the great activity and bids! I knew this bike was special, but you never know how these will actually go. I am more than grateful and looking forward to passing the old gem along. On that note, I think it’s important we are all on the same page. If somebody with a (rating) of less than 100 wants the bike, please send me a private note expressing where you are geographically coming from to get the bike and how you intend on paying for it. It’s really a simple ask to the person who is truly motivated to make the bike theirs.I once had somebody with a low rating, which can imply they don’t have much invested in their eBay profile, bid/win & go dark. Now I still sold the bike and it was no personal big deal, but eBay WANTS THEIR MONEY folks. Ebay ended up excusing me on the bill and booted the bidder off. It’s just a waste of time and effort for everybody involved in the auction. Drop me a quick line and let’s start the convo to ensure you get your new baby A-OK.So, the bids are set and it’s going to be a fun 36 hours!!! Are these the last bids? What is the max bid set at? How many of the 100+ watchers are just interested to see what it goes for? How many of those folks are getting ready to snipe in the closing moments?!!! I love this stuff.
