NO RESERVE AUCTION Up for sale is a gorgeous, extremely rare, 1997 F250 4x4 extended cab, short bed, V8 7.5 460 (gas), automatic, with 71k original miles! And a perfect, no accident, Carfax. This truck has been pampered and garaged it's whole life. Only been in Arizona and California so totally rust free. It was cared for on a level I've rarely seen. Without a doubt one of cleanest OBS's on the road today. I can honestly say it's the prettiest truck I've ever seen. It literally looks like a brand new truck. (see pics) Mechanically the truck is rock solid. No issues, no warning lights on. Starts right up every time, no smoke, no knocks. Engine sounds great and is incredibly clean. Completely stock. Shifts beautifully, goes into 4x4 and 4x4 low very smooth. AC blows cold and heat works well. Brand new BF Goodrich tires (have less than 50 miles on them.) Manual locking hubs. I would have zero hesitation driving it across country. Exterior is in amazing condition for any truck regardless of age. Paint is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful red/white color with 285/75/16 oversized tires gives a classic aggressive look (pics don't do it justice.) This truck flat out turns heads. It is 20+ years old, so it has a couple small scratches, rock chips, and dings... But no blemish is big enough to see from more than 10 feet away. It's exactly what you'd expect from an extremely well cared for, garaged and pampered truck of this age. Chrome bumpers are straight and alloy wheels shine like new. Rhino bed liner. Tailgate looks excellent. Interior is unbelievable due to the fact it's had dash mat since it was new and never used as work truck. As a result, the interior is a time capsule preserved in excellent condition. With the exception of couple small lines (NOT rips or tears) on the back seat, almost no wear is visible. Carpet is in fantastic condition but has a couple small stains and headliner looks new. Zero dash cracks, all instruments work perfectly including sound system, electric windows, cruise control, horn, lights, factory gauges, even lumbar works. Zero smells, no pets, no smoke. Note: Black spots on dash are velcro for the dash mat. Bottom line: you're just not going to find a better maintained, better looking, incredibly low mile OBS Ford…period.
