Fresh out of storage. Classic Porsche Project This Porsche 914 is an early car, a 1971 manufactured in late 1970. It is equipped with the more desirable, 2.0 liter engine, with the original fuel injection. This car needs a restoration to make perfect, but could be driven as-is with a little love and care. The engine is currently not running, and will most likely require a rebuild. This would make a great platform for a 914-6 conversion, or drive with the 2.0 power plant, which is plenty spirited for this car. Original color. Tangerine Orange is a great color for this car. I purchased this car to restore for my son, but he has opted for another project. The engine is not running, and will most likely need a rebuild. Upgrades include stainless steel heat exchangers and an auxiliary oil cooler. Some rust on the body, and underside, but not so bad as far as 914's go. The doors close good, so structurally it is strong. The battery area does not appear to be rusted. This is a project car, and the buyer should be aware that you will have to put some money into the car to make it just right.
