Here for sale is my 1964 Impala SS Convertible. I have owned this car for a few years but have decided to sell because I have other projects that I am closer to finishing. As far as the car, it is a very good start for someone looking to build an original convertible car. This is not a conversion or hack job that is prevalent these days. The car is pretty solid. Floor pans and braces were done prior to me owning it and they are rust free. The browning in the photos is simply dirt from sitting. The floor under the backseat is original and also in good condition. The trunk pan is solid but there are some soft spots in the corners where the upper and lower pans meet. Regarding the body, there are a lot of relatively new or newer body panels on it. There is some damage that is pictured on the driver's side that is mostly the quarter and rocker area. There is still good metal there that could be repaired or my plan was to just put new quarters on. When the body damage occurred the front of the frame was damaged so another frame was put under it. It's an original hardtop frame but I have 3 of the 4 additional mounts that need to be welded on for the body mounts. As you can see the doors and side molding have been shaved and poppers were installed but the remote system is no longer installed. Doors can still be opened manually from inside. My plan was to install a new remote system. Also pictured is a brand new driver's side fender, new grill with headlight buckets, new SS side molding, freshly done front buckets and rare convertible rear seat. Most of the trim I also have and can be seen in the pictures. The top is in decent shape with no tears but only operates manually.
