Vehicle Detail
1979 Oldsmobile Starfire Firenza V8 Az SW survivor LOW RESERVE FAIR RESERVE ... bid on it to win ! Probably less then 500 of these cars are even still around. I think maybe 1685 of these came from the factory w V8s in 79. LIVE THE DREAM DONT MISS OUT ON THIS CAR !!! Who remembers the late 70s when the big 3 where working on some sort of Muscle Car comeback... 79 Stang ? Trans Am ? and GM had the Monza and this Olds Starfire ! this one has the optional factory 305 v8 and also very well loaded car with white interior. We suggest viewing our auction on normal large monitors and or tablet to get the most out of our large easy to view pics. Desert Survivor being sold by a very legit Ebay seller If you have any concerns about our vehicle, please ask or dont bid on it. Dont wait till after you win and then make up stuff on wondering if we are real or not. FEEDBACK !!! if you cant take 10 min to read thru our feedback on the cars we have sold here over the last 10 yrs, then you also shouldnt be bidding on our auctions. Ebay offers our Feedback rating for a reason,... try trusting it. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This is a cool blast from the past and Super Rare H body that most of us forgot where even built ! This particular car was last tagged in the mid 80s. Its been in AZ pretty sure its whole life. Az has been rough on the paint and the interior plastic is brittle. After about a day of working on the car, we got it to fire up and Ive driven it around the block a few times !! Its not road ready yet, but at least you know the drivetrain is fine for the most part. Fix up the interior and maybe try n buff out the factory paint and you would have a great survivor car ! Stock as a rock, un-molested, ROT FREE Survivor already. And this values are on the rise, as are similar cars from the era, like the Fox body Mustangs. DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL ! Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Titleapparently some people who use ebay arent smart enough to understand the rules. So if you have under 10 feedbacks, Ill be emailing you if you bid to make sure you are legit, if we do please reply or we will cancel your bid. Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!! DRIVETRAIN: factory 305 V8 w an auto trans and correct rearend. Starts with the key all the time and doesnt idle too bad. Choke prob could use some adjusting. No smoke or bad noises coming from the original motor. No rust in the engine bay at all, just maybe some cactus and stuff from varmints when they where living under the hood. Found a few wires exposed but nothing major at all. At the moment we have it running off a small gas container under the hood and e fuel pump. Id suggest dropping the tank and cleaning it out before using it. No idea what shape its in, but if there is any gas left in it, its probably 20+ yrs old. Gas caps been on tight. Very original and unmolested under the hood. INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az heat has been really hard on the plastics and carpet. Vinyl actually not too bad of shape. Its not hard and crusty, and would probably clean up pretty nice. Headliner and dash bad. AM FM 8 track radio make static noise when turned on. Ive yet been able to get the pass door open. The handle lifts, but it wont open. May work on it some this week. Remember it sat for 30+ yrs. EXTERIOR: the body very straight for its age, but this is a 90% rust FREE survivor. Original sheetmetal the best I can tell from 1979. The Red paint looks all factory, the best I can tell. Decals etc all look to be from 79. Flares and front spoiler intact. Rear spoile there too, but warped some on top from the heat. Couldnt find any rust of rot on the body or under the car, thanks to the Az desert environment its been in. Glass all looks to be in good shape too. SUSPENSION: the suspension looks normal from what I can make out, but of course with the upgrades that came along with the V8 Firenza Option. Stiffer springs, larger sway bars etc. No wacky mods and surface rust at best. Makes coming apart a breeze. Minimal rust under the car !! Check out ALL the pics below ----->it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll bar on the right side. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate. more info AFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics. There you go, probably The BEST represented Olds on Ebay. Shows you all the good as well as any bad. We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars. People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks. Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find ! Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating. People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers. Email us with ANY questions before you bid please Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as much feasibly possible via pics. Dont let auctions with little to no pics try to fool you. If they cant take the time to take pics of areas under the car they are selling, maybe its not the best car to buy long distance. With other auctions, you really dont know what to expect until you take the car apart. While we go over our cars with great pics to help making your decision easier. Along with ANY other questions you may have. Email me for a quote for shipping. ARIZONA TITLE IN HAND Keep in mind, this is not a restored car !! CAR MUST BE PICKED UP WITHIN 10 days of auctions END ! we prefer to no longer store cars for weeks. Unless other arrangements have been made prior to auctions end. Can help with shipping outside the USA too if you need help. This car, you can see clearly what to expect with no surprises and our Feedback speaks for itself ! EMAIL US WITH ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE !! Car will obviously ship as fully operational ! IF you need a shipping quote, just email us with your city/state and Ill find out our best quote for you !!
