All new Front end, Upper & Lower Ball joints, Idler arm, Pitman Arm, Both Wheel hub bearing assembly’s New Left & right Front CV axles 2 New front shocks KYB MonoMax 565062 New Power steering pump (not Re-built) with new hoses. Besides the Squeaky alternator bearing. A new alternator is $57 dollars on eBay or for about 20 bucks you can purchase one of those specially ribbed serpentine belts that won’t squeak. As long as it works, I am OK with the squeak. Passed inspection in November 2018, no Check engine light. Here is a list of the known issues: Needs a front-end alignment The engine is temperamental when it rains or if I leave it sit without starting for a day or 2. It breaks up, idles rough and act like it is going to stall. Then when it warms up it runs well. Don’t know what causes it - I suspect there is a frayed wire or connection somewhere that is getting wet. Or it could be that it needs to run every day. Sometimes I don’t use the car for a couple of days in a row. I only put 30,000 miles on it in 8 years, less than 4,000 miles a year. Battery 8 years old – still works, might be the cause of the above-mentioned (wet) break up episodes. Rear barn doors don’t lock. Needs a 4WD transfer case – It works but will start to make noise after engaging for about a half mile. This truck is very good in snow, without the 4wd – I only use the 4WD if it hits ice. I use it for short periods of time. Then I go back to 2WD. Rides OK, it is not a new car, it creaks when you hit bumps. Rust is typical for a 20-year-old NJ vehicle. A lot of surface rust.
