Up for auction is an incredibly well preserved 1989 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4. This truck is in all original, unmolested condition and shows very well. This Bronco is equipped with almost every factory option available for the year including power windows, power locks, A/C, cruise control and tilt wheel. All of the power options are functioning except for the A/C, which has been converted to use R-134-A refrigerant, but could use a charge. The truck is also fitted with era correct fiberglass running boards and a fiberglass visor. The interior of this Bronco is in excellent condition with very few signs of wear. The dash is free of any major cracking in the dash pad or plastic pieces and has not faded or become discolored from the sun. All of the gauges work and are in excellent condition. The odometer reads 97,780 miles. The carpets are virtually perfect without any tears or stains, but there is one burn in the carpet on the passenger side near the center console. However, the truck does not have any smoke smell. The passenger seat and rear seat are in excellent condition and appear as new. The passenger seat does have one very small slit in the fabric on the side of the backrest closest to the B pillar, likely from loading and unloading people from the rear passenger area. The driver's seat has some wear on the outer seat bottom bolster as to be expected for a truck of this age and mileage. The original wheel and tire remain under the original cover in the cargo area and appear to be unused. The exterior of this Bronco shows incredibly well. The paint is 100% original aside from the front lower headlight valance which was repainted due to road chips. The paint does not have any peeling clear coat or fading and has a very deep shine. The truck does have a few small nicks in the paint as to be expected for a vehicle of this age, but no major blemishes otherwise. The original taped stripe is also in excellent condition. The body is extremely straight and both doors, the hood and tailgate open and close like a new car. The body gaps are all very even and symmetrical. This Bronco is completely ding and dent free aside from a few small dings in the top of the tailgate and one dent where the front valance meets the passenger fender as pictured. Other than these two areas the body is virtually perfect. The undercarriage of this Bronco is incredibly clean and is 100% rust free and solid. All of the factory spot welds appear to be perfect throughout the entire truck as well. The frame and suspension components are very clean and rust free as well. This truck runs and drives as well as it looks. The 5.0 302 V8 is very healthy and has plenty of torque. The 5 speed transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch engages with optimal travel. The transfer case shifts into all positions as it should and the factory automatic hubs still work. Within the past 50 miles the truck has been fitted with a brand new battery, alternator, muffler, windshield and a set of brand new 235/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler Radials. This is a very nice example of an original, unmolested Bronco and is offered at a low reserve price.
