1955 Hudson Wasp-car only has 61,017 original miles on it-VIN is W-4690--202 cylinder engine--full spec guide in multiple places online We got this car from an estate in Iowa. It had been sitting in a barn for the last 35 years. Car was started routinely and will start and run now. Please see all pictures below. Headlights were removed years ago but they are with the car as are the buckets. There are several pictures of all the parts that are with the car including some extra stuff. Things like trim pieces, center caps, etc. The carburetor needs to be adjusted but the car will start and run. When you get into it you can tell the carb needs cleaning. The interior is nice. Only known issue is the bottom right corner of back of driver seat is loose. We did nothing to the car since we got it. All the numbers are good and pictured and the car is completely original. It will need a good paint job but other than that and carb it is good to go. Rust is not a problem with the car. Trunk is solid. The car is very cool. I am in no way a classic car guy. I don't know alot of specifics on these cars. They are hard to find in running condition and all original. Hagerty's values the car at $9500. We will sell the car with no reserve and it will sell to high bidder. Interested parties are welcome to come and inspect the car anytime during auction. I saw a spot under driver side door that is rusted through. I have additional photos that I can email if interested. A part of the exhasut is rusted through as well. Other than that I saw a couple spots where there was oil residue but didn't see an active leak. There was surface rust in areas but no spots of rusting through like under the door. I assume that would be part of the rocker panel. There was no indication of rust in floor pans or truck from underneath. Truck is clean from the top also.
